CASE HISTORY 3 - 'ROMAN SEAWATER BATHS'
|
When the Roman open-air, sea-water swimming pool needed a new shingle base, Lymington Town Council entrusted G. Farwell Ltd with the contract.

The work involved carefully skimming off and removing the old shingle from the pool base, laying a new membrane and covering that with a layer of new washed shingle.
Care was needed to keep all heavy machinery away from the sides of the pool to avoid damage to the pool itself and the pedestrian area around it. |
