When a skip is placed on a public highway, such as a road or a pavement, a licence is required from your local council. At Farwell’s, our efficient team can arrange a skip license on your behalf, and will provide you with the correct equipment for ensuring that it is adequately coned off and well-lit overnight.
Licence costs and renewals
The cost of a skip permit is £90 + VAT. Skip permits on average tend to last for up to 2 – 4 weeks and can be renewed for an additional fee.

Skip hire sizes
We have a wide range of skip sizes available for hire from our site in the New Forest and we recycle up to 80% of waste that comes through our transfer station. You can hire 2, 3, 6, and 10 yard skips and for larger commercial projects we have roll-on/roll-off skips. If you have a large amount of waste to remove then our grab lorry could be a better solution for you.
