roll on roll off hire (ro-ro)
RoRo’s are the ideal solution for disposing large volumes of waste effectively, particularly in demolition and construction projects where there is a high volume of waste material. They can also be used for heavier material such as builders waste and large bulky items. We have 2 sizes available with capacity ranging from 16 to 35 yards. Our RoRo’s are not usually placed on a public highway due to their size.
Lyndhurst skip hire permits costs
At Farwell's, if your skip needs to be placed on a public road we can arrange a permit for you through your local council. Please ensure that you schedule in the appropriate time for the permit to be approved and obtained within your planning, as it can take up to 5 working days.
Wait and Load SKIP HIRE
Our wait and load service is particularly useful when space is restricted or where skips are not permitted to be left overnight. You can rest assured that we'll get the job done thoroughly, as once the waste has been created, we will turn up and wait whilst the skip is being loaded.
Beaulieu Grab Lorry Hire
For when skip access is limited, our grab hire service provides the perfect solution for the fast removal of waste. Available to both commercial and domestic customers, our grab hire lorries can be utilised for rubble, soil and driveway refurbishments.
Our grab lorry drivers are highly experienced operators and fully licensed to operate the grab crane. We take safety seriously and will consult with you prior to collection and onsite to ensure we fully understand your requirements and location. We can also use our grab lorries to deliver aggregates such as shingle, recycled concrete, scalpings, limestone and more.

skip hire FAQ’s
If you’re unsure about what size of skip you may require or need advice on what you can put in it please take a look at our FAQ’s below:
How long can I hire a skip for?
Generally, you can hire one of our skips for 1 – 2 weeks but we can accommodate longer hiring periods depending on your individual requirements. Please remember that if you’re placing your skip on a public highway you will need us to arrange a permit for you. As we are fully licensed and registered waste carriers with the council we can do this on your behalf.
When can you deliver my skip?
We recommend booking your skip in advance as we may need to apply for a permit. If the skip is going on private property we can sometimes provide same day or next day delivery, depending on availability and time of booking. We can provide you with an AM or PM slot and someone will need to be in to accept delivery.
Do I need a permit for my skip?
If placing the skip on a public road then you will need a permit. We need up to 7 days to arrange this from the local authority. Most skip hire permits are valid for up to 2 weeks but can be extended for an additional cost.
What can I put in my skip?
When filling your skip, you should be mindful of what you are putting in it as there are certain items which you can’t put in it. This includes food and animal waste, liquids, electrical goods (TV’s fridges etc), plasterboard, asbestos, batteries, tins of paint, tyres, medical waste, gas cylinders, solvents and fuels. You can dispose of soil and rubble in our skips but we need to be notified at time of booking due to the weight.
